There’s currently a critical blood shortage and blood donations are being distributed to hospital patients faster than donors are giving. These patients need your help to recruit blood donors and rebuild the blood supply to sufficient levels. Vitalant currently has less than a four-day supply of most blood types available, and less than a two-day supply of type O blood. We strive to always keep a four-day supply on hand to meet the needs of patients every day and be prepared for emergencies that would require significant volumes of donated blood products. .
5 Star Car Wash is sponsoring a blood drive on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM in a bloodmobile in the parking lot at 520 Orange Drive, Vacaville Ca 95687. Please click below to schedule an appointment! You can help rebuild the blood supply to adequate levels as we continue to provide lifesaving blood to patients across Northern California.
Appointments are strongly encouraged to help maintain social distancing. In addition, all donors and staff are required to wear a mask or cloth based face covering and sanitizing and disinfecting measures are taking place throughout the process. As an added incentive, All donors will receive a coupon for a free car wash!
