Patients depend on blood donors to give the gift of life this holiday season. Vitalant encourages all eligible donors – especially new donors and those who haven’t given in a while – to make an appointment now, because patients can’t take a holiday from needing blood. To help support the community blood supply this December, 5 Star Car Wash is sponsoring a blood drive on Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 3 PM at 520 Orange Drive in Vacaville. As a special thank you for saving a life, all donors will get a FREE Car Wash! You can help rebuild the blood supply to adequate levels as we continue to provide lifesaving blood to patients across Northern California. Inclement weather and seasonal illnesses can significantly reduce blood availability with little notice, but patients need blood every day of the year. I’m happy to share that as of this morning we have 9 donors scheduled for next week’s drive, with 14 slots available for interested donors.
