Blood Drive Results For 5 Star Car Wash 03/08/2020

Thank you for hosting yesterday’s blood drive. Your support of the community blood program will go a long way toward replenishing blood supplies and ultimately saving lives.

Without further ado, I’m pleased to share with you the following results for our drive…

The preliminary results shows the drive had 14 appointments scheduled to donate.  We registered 19 donors and 13 could donate. Out of the 13 donors we collected 16 units of lifesaving blood. Each unit of blood can potentially save 3 lives, so your drives helped to possibly save the lives of 48 people. 

Getting feedback from staff, it seemed like the everyone wanted to donate in the first 2 hours.  Maybe next time I’ll bring more staff and shorten the drive by a half hour.  Also our staff said that there was a group taking pictures and taking video, please let me know if you know who the group is because maybe they can help on the next drive.
