Vitalant and 5 Star Car Wash Partner for a Successful Blood Drive
Hello Bill,
Thank you for hosting last week’s blood drive. Your support of the community blood program will go a long way toward replenishing blood supplies and ultimately saving lives.
Without further ado, I’m pleased to share with you the following results for our drive…
The preliminary results shows the drive had 10 appointments scheduled to donate. We registered 18 donors and 16 could donate. Out of the 16 donors we collected 22 units of lifesaving blood. The total from all 3 blood drives this year was 54 units. Each unit of blood can potentially save 3 lives, your drives helped to possibly save the lives of 162 people.
Your support truly made a positive impact on our community and we are proud to partner with you. Because of blood drives like this we’re able to supply hospitals with what they need.

Lastly, I just want to share with you a patient stories that was helped thanks to the donors that make the time to help those in need.
These four patients used 44 blood products. During a whole blood donation, a donor gives one pint. Your blood drive has the ability to save hundreds of lives, as well as positively impact hundreds of people across the United States.
